During Aeroe International Mask Festival a research symposium will take place on the island. It is organized by the Danish folklore researcher. Carsten Bregenhoej - who resides in Finland.
He and the Islandic professor Terry Gunnell  previously organized a major research project titled  "Mask and Mumming in the Nordic Area".( A  fine book is avaible. You can google it for purchase.)
