We want to offer two workshops during the festival conducted by foreign masters of masks. At this point we keep their names to ourselves – but as soon as they have agreed to join us, you will know.

Under preparation is an open workshop, lasting some 6 months from november 2008 -  lead by our local maskmaker. This workshop will be offered to everyone living on Aeroe. Here the citizens can learn how to create their  own masks for Shrovetide and Twelfth Night.
They  will also be able to learn how to build the giants, that will be used for the first time during the festival.
Maybe this will be the beginning of new traditions during the summertime. Time will tell.
